Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup optional, for added sweetness
  • Ice cubes optional, for thickness
  • Crushed graham crackers and extra walnuts for garnish

Instructions:

Add almond milk, banana, shredded carrots, rolled oats, chopped walnuts, Medjool dates, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and vanilla extract to a blender

If you prefer extra sweetness, add maple syrup to the blender as well

Blend until smooth and creamy

If youd like a thicker consistency, you can add ice cubes and blend again

Pour the smoothie into a glass or mason jar

Garnish with crushed graham crackers and extra chopped walnuts
