Egg Salad Sandwiches are a classic and delicious food that are great for a quick and filling meal. When paired with fresh vegetables, the creamy egg salad tastes just great.
Ingredients:
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 slices of bread
- Lettuce leaves optional
- Tomato slices optional
Instructions:
Chop the hard-boiled eggs and put them in a bowl with the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, and fresh parsley
If you want, you can add salt and pepper to taste
Mix everything together well
If you want, you can toast the bread slices
A lot of the egg salad should be spread out on one piece of bread
If you want, you can add lettuce leaves and tomato slices on top
To make a sandwich, put another slice of bread on top
Do the same thing with the rest of the bread slices and egg salad mixture
Cut the sandwiches in half across the middle, then serve
